Poets David Adams and Phil Metres will read at Mac's on Tuesday, April 3rd at 7 p.m.
David Adams is the author of several collections including Room for Darkness, Room for Light: New and Selected Poems (Blue Shale Books) and Evidence of Love (Finishing Line Press). He is the editor of Over West: Selected Writings of Frederick Eckman. His poems have been published in numerous journals including Black Fly Review, Maine Sunday Telegram and Wolf Moon Poetry Press Journal. David is also a consulting technical writer. Room for Darkness, Room for Light contains several poem cycles and sequences including the exquisite Eight Lost Photos by Andre Kertesz.
Phil Metres is the author of a number of books, including To See the Earth (Cleveland State 2008), Behind the Lines: War Resistance Poetry on the American Homefront since 1941 (University of Iowa Press, 2007), Instants (a chapbook, Ugly Duckling Presse, 2006), Primer for Non-Native Speakers (a chapbook, Kent State 2004), Catalogue of Comedic Novelties: Selected Poems of Lev Rubinstein(Ugly Duckling 2004). and A Kindred Orphanhood: Selected Poems of Sergey Gandlevsky (Zephyr 2003).
