Mac's Book Club will discuss The Paris Wife by Paula McClain. This acclaimed novel still remains on bestseller lists a year and a half after being published. The book is told from the point of view of Hadley Richardson, Ernest Hemingway's first wife. The couple are part of the expatriate and bohemian culture of post World War I Paris. Mclain captures the atmosphere of the era and richly imagines the life of Hadley, a midwestern woman navigating the excesses of the Lost Generation.
