Fiction, Fantasy & Adventure our middle grade book club for girls will discuss the Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell on Saturday, April 14th at 10 a.m. A classic young adult novel, Island of the Blue Dolphins is based on the experiences of a Nicoleno Indian girl who survives for years alone on an island off the coast of California. The book won the Newberry Medal in 1961 and has inspired generations of readers.
